Hans-Dieter Blatecki

For more than 30 years, the passionate change manager, who lives in Germany, the USA, Hong Kong, and since 2009 in Switzerland and Sweden, has not only been changing the digital landscape in purchasing and supply chain management worldwide, but also in the related business areas of SMEs and DAX companies.

In his role as a partner at HK International Consulting, he advises executives, board teams and their employees on all aspects of digital transformation, innovation, new business models, restructuring and organisation, with a focus on procurement, supply chain and operations. As a supply chain expert, he has focused on supporting clients and partners in the joint definition and goal-oriented implementation of digital transformation strategies worldwide.

As a positive influencer, with a direct and straightforward delivery of exceptional business process transformation experiences, he has propagated the market in his role as a digitalisation expert, coach and mentor for start-ups, keynote speaker, author (Industrie 4.0 - The Digital Future in Purchasing).

He gained his successful and versatile industry experience (automotive, furniture, paper, electrical, optical, IT industry, insurance/banking,...) in well-known companies such as Faurecia Automotive, Westfalia Automotive, Frimo Group, Leica Camera, Weko Büromöbelfabrik, Papierfabrik Utzentorf, Air Liquide, and many other successful companies known worldwide. He was also a co-founder of the largest knowledge initiative in the field of digitalisation in German-speaking countries. He is currently involved as a board member in Kigali, Rwanda, with Ayambe Talent Solutions to promote climate financing in developing countries.

As a partner of HK International Consulting, he has focused on helping companies reduce procurement and supply chain complexity either through simple, intelligent and open software solutions and/or by strategically optimising, or structuring, procurement costs on the ground with their employees.
